Display banners are graphic adverts that appear in designated areas of our ShowMe community website pages. Rates for this advertising method are based on cost per thousand impressions (CPM). We only charge for adverts that are actually seen, so that you know exactly what you’re paying for.
How does it work?
The ShowMe difference …
You are familiar with display adverts from large corporates that appear in your daily news and social media. With ShowMe you can market your business in the same way, to a local audience and avoid the fees of a digital marketing agency for the setup and monitoring of your campaign. With ShowMe there is no setup fee or additional cost to monitor and tweak your campaign. Your marketing budget goes where it is needed – you only pay for the actual display of your advert.
Display adverts can be purchased per thousand views (called impressions). The more you buy the less you pay per thousand. Our system counts each view and notifies you when the number of views paid for have been seen. The industry term used in pricing is CPM, which means Cost Per Thousand (M for thousand) views/impressions.
Banner design: You can provide us with your professionally designed banner or let our experienced Graphic Designer design your banner according to your specifications.
You determine the total cost of your campaign i.e. how much you want to spend to market your business. The number of page impressions that will be delivered for your budget = Total Cost divided by the CPM rate for your chosen banner multiplied by 1000.
